Do the Knicks and 76ers have enough to beat the Celtics this year? - The Celtics were projected to win the East and favorites to win the NBA Championship last year. They led from start to finish. The Knicks made it to the 2nd seed and were injured so bad it was surprising they accomplished that feat. All the basketball analysts said that if they were injured, they would have a shot at beating Boston. This year they added Bridges another part of the Villanova connection and resigned their starters.  The 76ers with Embid hurt struggled to get in the playoffs. He got better and the 76ers got knocked out again. This year the addressed that weakness -they built a bench to compete with the Celtics and Knicks. Boston has a great 2 and has great role players that should make them the favorites again. by Linda McGrath
